HHER
Hher is the solo project of Cincinnati based percussionist Kristin Agee. Kristin, a founding member of the experimental rock trio, Us, Today, began playing as Hher in early 2018 as an outlet for some of her musical ideas that never made their way into Us, Today tunes. Hher’s primary sound is created by a Yamaha vibraphone, enhanced by guitar effect pedals. With the assistance of an SPD-sx sampling pad, a looping pedal, and occasionally a theremin and other percussive sounds, Hher explores minimalistic rhythm and harmony, and an assortment of sound colors created by effecting her electric vibraphone.
