POOL HOLOGRAPH

Beginning as Wyatt Grant’s bedroom project, Pool Holograph “the band” was not realized until
the joining of Zach Stuckmann (bass), and brothers Jacob and Paul Stolz (percussion and lead
guitar). Since that point, the group maintained a consistent presence in Chicago’s indie music
scene, while just as consistently reconstructing their sound and ethos. Their latest full length,
Love Touched Time and Time Began to Sweat comes from the not-too-distant time of physical
contact with friends and family, and the familiar cycle of rehearsals, shows, and DJ sets.
However, the writing and recording of this album was fraught with determination to reshape the
group’s approach to making music. The album features a slew of new strategies for the band
including their first guest contributions (V.V. Lightbody and Spencer Ouellette of REZN), clear
vocal delivery, and a newfound embrace of very minimal instrumentation.

ZOO is the moniker of Cory Pavlinac. He began making home recordings after a chance meeting led to being loaned a 12-track recorder. Experimenting with writing and recording led Pavlinac to make a DIY cassette of lo-fi, indie dream pop in 2012. ZOO was the name he used for the tapes and it stuck. From there, he met members of the beloved Cincinnati band, Pomegranates, and, after sharing some home-recorded demos, made the EP Tree of Knowledge with them in 2015. The 6-song EP helped solidify a place of confidence from which to continue his songwriting, and eventually led to ZOO’s first full-length release, "No Man’s Land", which came out in the Fall of 2021 via Good Eye Records.

TED TYRO is a Louisville, Kentucky band formed around the tape machine recordings of Bart Swift.
The band (featuring members of Wombo and Murals) plays bouncing, bass-led pop rock reminiscent of Talking Heads, Deerhunter, and Omni. In 2019, they completed a pair of east coast tours and regional runs. They have recently supported White Reaper, Ty Segall, Mild High Club, Dan Deacon, Eleanor Friedberger, The Districts, etc.

The band will release their studio debut in spring 2022.
