MOTR 15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION WEEKEND

MOTR opened during Fall of 2010 with a focus in mind to develop a hub for live, original music specifically in Over-the-Rhine. Since then we have hosted 5,000 (+/-) live events with thousands and thousands of bands and songwriters from all over the world. Along the way we opened and renovated our sister venue the historic Woodward Theater (1913), have sold something like a zillion cheeseburgers, and have hosted over 160 art exhibits that have occurred every Final Friday since we opened. Our open mic night-geared toward developing budding local songwriters has been running strong since the beginning and has won many accolades over the years. Hell, at one point we were even voted 3rd best comedy club in the City!
We had planned to celebrate our 10 year anniversary but that got derailed by the pandemic. So instead we’re celebrating our 15 year anniversary with what else but tons of live music, all day and night over a 4-day period, including bands made up of many of our talented staff. We’ll also be offering up some throwback food and drink specials, an exhibit of posters from noteable shows that span the last 15 years, and poetry by Word Of Mouth who have hosted a monthly poetry night with us for the last 8 years.
We love our lively neighborhood and will continue to embrace the diversity, panache, creativity and hustle of the City and Main St. Special shout out to the residents and businesses around us that have helped make OTR such a unique place. Onward!
