Dan Van Vechten is a folky singer/songwriter who will play songs ranging from folk to country to anything that may be on the radio, plus of course songs of his own in the mix. Influences include country old timers like Willie Nelson and Kristofferson and folky old timers like Paul Simon and John Prine. His relaxed, mellow delivery always makes for a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. His live performances sometimes reach bigger stages, but most shows are smaller venues for audiences who enjoy listening to lyrics and song details.
The Dan Van Vechten trio’s June 2022 EP release Stringtown Sessions is a collection of original songs and local covers, now available on danvanvechtenmusic.com and streaming in all of the usual places.
