Exploring themes of solidarity, defiance, resistance and resilience and imbued with potent symbolic imagery, artwork on display includes works created in response to gender oppression, social injustice, gun violence and the War in Gaza.
Jeni Jenkins of Renegade Babe Studio, is an interdisciplinary visual activist with a socially-engaged creative practice aimed at creating social impact. Her art addresses
social issues and challenges, engaging communities to build empathy and disrupt oppressive norms through empowerment, subversion, and protest.
Jenkins’ art practice is situated at the intersections of printmaking, Feminism, social practice, and critical pedagogy. Her socially engaged projects challenge injustices faced by marginalized communities, aiming to reimagine inclusive, human-centered systems of civic engagement and belonging.
