LAUREN EYLISE & THE PART TIME LOVERS
Award-winning singer and songwriter Lauren Eylise’s musical talents have provided her with opportunities to open for artists including Tank, Raheem Devaughn, Matt Kearney, Linking Bridge, Red Wanting Blue, Train and many more.
Lauren's witty lyricism gives off the matter-of-fact tone of Lauryn Hill and the unapologetic savagery of SZA’s "CTRL" layered with vulnerability that is purely Lauren Eylise. Her impactful lyrics, powerhouse vocals and modern neo-soul grooves create a soulful vibe that is unlike any other. Having toured the Midwest and East coast both as a solo acoustic artist and as front woman of her own band, Lauren is truly a force to be reckoned with in the independent music scene.
Lauren's debut EP release, Life/Death/Life showcases her well-rounded, genre-defying artistic approach to music. Earlier releases like "Petals" and "Loud Afternoon", showcase her skills as a lyricist, composer, and vocalist.
Local venues Lauren Eylise has filled include Memorial Hall, Fountain Square, MOTR Pub, The Mockbee, The Listing Loon, Myrtle's Punch House, Lucy Blue Pizza, Northside Tavern, We Olive & Wine Bar, Prime Cincinnati, Southgate House Revival, The Thompson House, PRVLGD Lounge & Bistro, Roh's Street Cafe, The Comet, Fibonacci's Brewing Company, Revel OTR, Urban Artifact, Leaping Lizard, The Greenwich, and more.
