SISTERN
Sistern is an American rock band that operates best in the tension between MBV blur and Alex Chilton pop. Fronted by main songwriter Stevie Girton and backed by guitarist/vocalist Anna Bentley, bassist Scott Haggerty and drummer Brent Donaldson, the band recorded its latest album at the historic Herzog Studio — the band’s Cincinnati home base and the city’s first full-time commercial recording studio. All You Made Up showcases Sistern’s “structure under duress” style — dense, fractured, immersive music combined with sharp, melodic songwriting.
